Abstract:
This research work examines in detail the new possibilities of mixed hybrid
teaching of English as a foreign language, its history, definitions and characteristics.
New methods of practical and problem-based teaching to university students in
foreign language classes have been developed, which perfectly complement
traditional and hybrid methods. It turned out that hybrid learning requires special
pedagogical approach. In addition, this is because of organization and design of
homework for students in a new hybrid format. As a standard example of independent
work of students, homework is an important tool for ensuring the unity of learning
and self-learning. Doing homework takes up an important part of learning, as it has a
huge impact on the process of mastering and memorizing lesson materials. The
teacher should not underestimate the role of homework, since their sufficient
implementation helps in the development of students’ desire and skills to
independently organize extracurricular time. Therefore, this research work is devoted
to the discussion of the principles and norms of the development and design of a
comprehensive homework model for English language learners, which can be
successfully used and implementation in the context of new hybrid learning.
