dc.description.abstract The matter of devising efficient techniques and strategies for instructing foreign language discourse remains relevant. Education and personal development are attainable for a modern student when the activity is emotionally engaging, with a primary focus on being educational. The importance of motivation in the structure of the educational process is well-known. It enhances cognitive activation and stimulates interest in performing a specific activity. The most potent incentive is the utilization of instructional techniques that align with the schoolchildren's desire for novelty in the subject matter and diversity in the tasks performed. The incorporation of diverse unconventional teaching methods facilitates the integration of linguistic information into memory, the formation of more enduring visual and auditory representations, and the maintenance of students' focus and engagement [1,62 p.]. Therefore, an increasing number of schools are favoring active learning techniques. The emotional intelligence activity represents one of these methodologies. ru_RU
