Abstract:
The Uzbek language belongs to the Turkic group of languages and is spoken not only in Uzbekistan but also in neighboring countries: Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan. 72% of the population of Uzbekistan is Uzbek; 85% of the population speaks Uzbek.
